Research
Mr. KC’s current research involves designing molds for the rapid development of biocomposite automotive parts. He is currently an intern at the Ford Powertrain Engineering Research and Development Centre (PERDC) in Windsor, Ontario.
In the course of obtaining his undergraduate degree, Mr. KC worked at the Faculty of Forestry’s wood chemistry lab as a work-study student, and at the Faculty’s Center for Biomaterials and Biocomposites Processing as a summer research assistant. He plans to continue researching the characterization of papermill sludge and forest residue-based biocomposites, and gaining knowledge and experience in biocomposite processing technologies.
