Post Doctoral Fellow – Dr. Shawn Wang
Shawn Wang completed his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), Shanghai, China. He achieved his PhD in Polymer Science from the joined programme of University of Bayreuth, Germany and ECUST, China which supported by Chinese National Scholarship. He worked as project manager at Niche-tech Electronic Co., Ltd. Hong Kong SAR China response for the development of novel LED encapsulate materials from 2010 to 2012. He joined the Centre for Biocomposites and Biomaterials Processing, University of Toronto, Canada since 2012. He is currently working on All-solution processed organic light-emitting diode device based on cellulose nanocomposite. His research interests include polymer chemistry (synthesis and characterization), functional polymer composite, nano materials and organic electronic device.
