Architectural Design Studio: Research 2
About
"‘Usual Suspects’ was launched last semester with a study of some unusual architectures. 250 houses built on the Japanese archipelago between 1962 and 1992 were observed, discussed, drawn, selected, classified. They became a common ground for exploration.
Learning from this promethean quest, a few unusual houses emerged. These projects draw from the shared findings but also from personal hypotheses, adventurous thoughts, arbitrary inclinations, and a few precisely calibrated accidents."
