Architectural Design Studio 7: Thesis
About
Life Kit
This thesis explores the possibility of a kit of parts for the erection of a flexible building in which to work, live, change, grow, and share. Conceived as an open, self-build system of hard and soft components, the framework enables the directed assembly and disassembly of elements. Housing here acts as a social and economic safety net addressing the precariousness of many of the city’s inhabitants, hence a life kit.
