Landscape Architecture Studio IV
About
The effective layering of connected landscape architecture strategies can make efficient use of public space in our increasingly dense urban environments. This studio investigated this productive relationship through a bike path hub, from where movement can pause and then spread across the city. Studio participants have explored designs that pack overlapping programmatic possibilities into a small urban site at Queen Street West and Gladstone Avenue, in anticipation of connecting with the future West Toronto Railpath extension.
