Senior Seminar in History and Theory (Thesis)
About
For this academic year, the subject area of study within undergraduate thesis was the architecture of activism. We began by examining historical periods when architects demonstrated social agency and conviction, including but not limited to modernism's engagement with social housing, the radical practices of the 1960s that aimed to overturn systems of power, and more recent grassroots efforts to redefine collective action. Each individual project seeks to ask, what does an architecture of activism look like today?
