About
"First year Master of Urban Design students are designing frameworks for suburban transformation.
Suburban transformation is a complex multi-generational process. It requires navigating the co-existence of two paradigms – one in ascendance and the other in decline – as we wean ourselves off auto-dependence and provide viable alternatives. Bramalea Go Station, located in Brampton, Ontario, is the studio’s test site. It provides a ‘heart’ for a new 20-minute neighbourhood, in which a diversity of people will live, work, supply, care, learn and enjoy life in a transit-oriented, walkable community.
