Architectural representation undergoes a shift when viewed through a computer screen versus physically. 3D scanning, particularly point clouds, offers a novel approach, capturing intricate spatial and temporal dynamics impossible with traditional methods. This study explores this through Brookfield Place, utilizing point cloud Duratrans prints and animations to freeze and animate moments, enhancing spatial comprehension and interactivity. This unique blend draws inspiration from pointillism and futurism, offering a dynamic view of the site's evolution over time. The combination of perspective stills and animation enriches the understanding of space, emphasizing imperfections and nuances. The resulting experience underscores point clouds' role in unraveling movement patterns and spatial relationships in urban contexts.
