New graduate and slam poet, Hannah Flores, champions environmental science

The UofT Bulletin featured an article by Diane Peters on Forestry Conversation Science Major Hannah Flores, an award-winning slam poet graduating with an honours degree and her plans to conduct fieldwork in the Peruvian Amazon as part of her graduate studies at the University of Toronto.

In a world grappling with health threats and climate change, Flores says “getting to people’s emotions is what gets people to care.”
