The Faculty is proud to have graduated almost 3,000 forestry professionals in its 100-plus year history. The volunteer-run Forestry Alumni Association helps keep alumni connected to the Faculty and each other, and organizes occasional events.


Mission

The Mission of the Forestry Alumni Association is to provide opportunities for its alumni to participate in and contribute to the continued growth and development of the Faculty, to recognize alumni contributions to the Faculty and to society as a whole, and to promote interaction among alumni through programs that enrich their professional and personal lives.


Objectives

  • Engage and connect all FAA Members.
  • Promote the interests of the FAA and strengthen connections with the Daniels Faculty itself.
  • Represent and serve as a collective voice of FAA Members.
  • Help students and recent graduates transition into the workforce.
  • Establish strong links with the forest sector to promote FAA Members.
  • Promote forest research and education at the University of Toronto.
  • Foster a culture of professional development, information sharing, and transparency among recent graduates, students and alumni.
