MTI Director Anne Koven featured on TVO’s The Agenda
On May 21st, Mass Timber Institute director Anne Koven joined a panel discussion on The Agenda with Steve Paikin titled “Is There a Mass Market for Mass Timber?” Panelists included Steven Craft from CHM Fire Consultants, Philip Silverstein from Moriyama Teshima Architects, and Christopher Williams from Timber Systems.
The discussion ranged from topics such as fire safety, current trends in mass timber building typologies, and future opportunities for the mass timber industry from the perspectives of architecture and Canadian forest management.
