Forestry fellow Michael McTavish co-creates guide for combating invasive grass

 

Dr. Michael McTavish, a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Daniels Faculty, is the lead author of a new guide recently published in Invasive Plant Science and Management that aims to combat Phragmites australis, also known as the common reed, a destructive tall grass introduced into North America from Europe in the 1800s.
