Extended Due Date: Help design a new logo for the Institute of Forestry and Conservation

Extended Due Date: Help design a new logo for the Institute of Forestry and Conservation

The due date for this contest has now been extended until November 13, 2020.

Earlier this fall, the Daniels Faculty’s forestry program adopted a brand-new name: the Institute of Forestry and Conservation. Now, the program needs a new logo to match. That’s why the Forestry Graduate Students’ Association is holding a logo design contest, open exclusively to Daniels Faculty students. (Because who better?)

Entrants are required to submit a design for an Institute of Forestry and Conservation logo that can be used in digital and print publications. The logo design must be attractive on its own but should also look good when displayed alongside the Daniels Faculty logo.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Forestry Graduate Students’ Association. A panel of judges made up of Daniels students, professors, and staff will vote on finalists. The creator of the winning design will receive a $200 prize.

Any students interested in making a submission should do so soon: the deadline for entries is November 9, 2020.

For more details on how to enter, as well as information on past U of T forestry logos, see the Forestry Graduate Students’ Association design brief.
